Rachophorus Rizali was named after who?

If you are a zoologist, the name Rachophorus Rizali might sound familiar.

Well, Rachophorus Rizali is the scientific name of a type of frog.

The person who submitted specimen of this reptile and other animals to the Dresden Museum is Dr Jose Rizal. So you see, this frog was named after him.
A flying lizard (Draco Rizali) and a beetle (Apogonia Rizali) was named after him too!

Very intersting!
